Engineering, Procurement and Construction for the Mombasa Oil Terminal Project.
100,559cbm petroleum depot built in Mombasa, Kenya, to the European Petroleum Industry Standards. Civicon Ltd has been contracted under an EPC Contract for the complete facility. Included in the project are 750 piles, all foundations, bund wall, 10 tanks, truck loading facility and all associated pipe works.
SHELL UGANDA Ltd. - DEPOT UPGRADE KAMPALA, UGANDA

We built 2 tanks to increase the storage capacity of the Shell Depot in Kampala. 1 tank for Jet A1 of 1000 cbm and 1 tank for AGO of 1000 cbm were built including the inlet and outlet connection into the depot. The contract was completed on time and this is the first tanks that Shell has build in Uganda for 20 years.
KENYA SHELL Ltd - TANK FARM GEITA, TANZANIA

The project consisted of supplying and building an 8000 cbm Fuel Depot in Geita Tanzania 1400 km from our base. A virgin site was handed over to Civicon Limited and we handed back a fully operational 8000 cbm fuel depot and 200 cbm bulk lube oil depot.

GOVERNMENT OF SOUTHERN SUDAN - FUEL DEPORT, JUBA, SOUTHERN SUDAN

This project is the supply, fabrication and erection of 2 x 1200cbm diesel tanks and 1x80cbm day tank for the new 5 MW Diesel Power Generating Station plus all pumps, filter metres etc. This was a turnkey tank farm designed to receive fuel from road tankers and pump to the individual fuel tanks of the 5 Units one MW engines. The concrete ring beams for the tank foundation were cast in situ. The tank farm was bunded with a 1800mm high concrete wall. All ballast and cement was transported from Uganda. The tanks were prefabricated in Mombasa transported 1940km to site and erected.
BAHARINI OIL SUPPLY SERVICES VEGETABLE OIL DEPOT

This project was a complete turnkey tank farm consisting of 9 tanks of 1600 cbm each plus all associated pipe work; bridges; loading gantry; weigh bridge fire fighting facilities and ship to shore pipeline for direct loading involvement by us with the conceptual design which reduced the cost of the project.
20.5 MW HFO POWER STATION, KIGALI
Client: Wartsila Finland Oy, Tarhaajantie-2
The Rwanda Government contracted Wartsila to supply and install a more cost effective power generating plant than the currecnt AGO plants. The contract was to supply transport and erect 12" fuel oil and fire tanks built to API 650 11th Edition for the new Rwanda Power Station. Civicon was also contracted to erect all the equipment supplied by the original manufacturer and to undertake all interconnecting pipe work.
