David Horsey was educated in Kenya and started as a farmer. During a carrier of 33 years in the construction industry although he has a broad base of experience he has specialized in heavy transport and erection with numerous complex projects under his belt. David recently expanded his portfolio to include property development.
Executive Director
Horace Horsey was educated in Kenya and South Africa. His 33 year career in the construction industry covered many disciplines, concentrating specifically in the petroleum industry where his knowledge built up over the years is called upon by most of the fuel companies in the region.
Finanical Director
Maria Kaderhbai has worked in accounts for over 25 years. She has worked for Contrax, SDV Transami and then came to manage the finances of the numerous companies under the Civicon Group umbrella. Her understanding of the financial environment throughout East Africa has been instrumental in the growth the company.
General Manager
Mike Huth joined Civicon in 1997 and was instrumental in building up Civicon's presence and reputation in Sudan and Northern Uganda. After 6 years he left the company and managed the construction and operation of a large industrial flower farm in Central Kenya. In late 2006 he rejoined Civicon as the General Manager and now manages the day to day running of the company.
Transport Manager
Ian Street is the most recent addition to Civicon's upper management structure. Ian trained as an Aeronautical Engineer, he moved from the aircraft industry in 1990 to work for the Marshals Group a large haulier operating throughout Africa followed by SDV Transami an international logistics company. Ian joined Civicon in 2008 and is responsible for management of the transport divisions of the Civicon Group.
